STATION INTERNET ANALYST

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Internet Analyst will Support the local Internet Business Unit (“IBU”) Manager and local Finance team in developing budgets/forecasts/5 year plans for the Internet operation using consistent templates/guidance, sourcing, collating and quality control of KPI statistics and market research data

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

collecting and collating monthly IBU financial and operational performance statistics for monthly presentations on IBU operations to management (monitoring actual performance against budget and forecasts)

developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the station IBU operations and performance including market dynamics, key revenue drivers, costs, investment requirements etc

support IBU Managers and Group Internet Development Senior Manager in developing budgets/forecasts/5 year plans, benchmarking of IBU operations, sourcing, collating and quality control of KPI statistics and market research data

ad hoc projects such as research information on potential acquisition targets or Internet development initiatives or any other appropriate ad hoc tasks as assigned by the station IBU Manager or local Head of FP&A.

REQUIREMENTS:

You will be an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant (preferred) with a demonstrable track record in financial reporting skills and commercial acumen, ideally gained within the new media sector but not essential. The role requires a highly self motivated and driven individual with a strong desire for excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal and advanced analytical skills are essential. This role will be based at the station and require fluency in the local language (knowledge of English strongly encouraged), and with minimal travel required.
